We are a business that keeps innovating<\/strong>\n<\/h2>

QLS has been around for more than 30 years and is from origin a real family business! QLS has now grown into one of the largest players in the logistics e-commerce industry, offering fulfilment<\/a>, parcel service<\/a> and software<\/span><\/a>, among other things. We are very proud of this and that is why we would like to briefly introduce you to our history! \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1990\n<\/h3>

Started from a garage<\/strong>\n<\/h2>

QLS all originated from a DHL depot. We took the parcels to the sorting center with one bus, because the volumes of the parcels were small. The parcels were packed one by one. You couldn’t imagine that today. In the beginning we did many parcels in Dordrecht and it was then quickly expanded to surrounding places in Dordrecht and Rotterdam. Thanks to these developments, we have moved from the garage to a larger building.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

2005\n<\/h3>

Due to growth<\/strong>, not one, but two buildings!\n<\/h2>

We noticed that we were getting busier and QLS was becoming a real household name in the area. To serve our customers even better, we started developing our own platform in which customers can track their shipments. At the same time, we have expanded to provinces such as North Holland, Utrecht and North Brabant for parcel collection. In order to scale up faster, we needed more and more staff, in addition to the various family members. Many of these colleagues still work at QLS!<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

2015\n<\/h3>

The start<\/strong>\u00a0of fulfilment\n<\/h2>

At the beginning of 2015, a customer wants to leave the QLS parcel service to switch to a fulfilment company. “What does a fulfilment party do?” was a question that quickly followed within QLS. The same year we started our own fulfilment service, but even better and with a QLS flavour! For example, we introduced the unique ‘All-in-prices’ in the Dutch market, to keep costs low and transparent for the customer.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

2015\n<\/h3>

Second<\/strong>\u00a0generation comes along\n<\/h2>

The second generation of the family also joined in 2015. By joining forces, we have grown even more with QLS. The company quickly grew to more than 100 employees that year and now employs more than 350+ employees. So significant steps were taken in 2015. These steps made the current building too small and a new move was already planned!<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

2019\n<\/h3>

Move<\/strong>\u00a0to current building\n<\/h2>

In order to continue to serve our customers optimally, we started building a 10,000 m2 fulfilment center in June 2019, where we still use an innovative automated storage and order processing system called the AutoStore. This allows us to store more goods in the same space and allows us to collect and ship orders to consumers more accurately and faster.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

2022\n<\/h3>

Expansion<\/strong>\u00a0of building\n<\/h2>

The construction of our building has now been completed, located directly next to our first building. In this 20,000 m2 building, located in Dordrecht at Kerkeplaat 11, more than 350+ QLS employees are passionate about our services every day. The main goal is to serve all customers optimally. That is why we will continue to strive for innovation and investments in the future to continuously improve our services!<\/p>\n

2024\n<\/h3>

New building in Belgium<\/strong>\n<\/h2>

We have proudly expanded our activities with a brand new building in Belgium, located in Herentals! This expansion offers us the opportunity to support even more webshops with the complete logistics process, from A to Z. Belgium is an interesting sales market for our customers and that is why we want to be able to serve them even better. This new location allows us to process orders and returns even faster than before!<\/p>\n

Belgium’s strategic location in the heart of Europe makes it a well-considered choice. This opens up possibilities for later cut-off times and that is an advantage for QLS customers!<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
