A genuine passion for e-commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Role<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Operations Manager Parcel Services, you are the driving force behind the quality of our parcel operation. You&nbsp;don\u2019t&nbsp;do this from behind a desk \u2014&nbsp;you\u2019re&nbsp;on the floor, you ride along with drivers, you see with your own eyes where things go wrong, and you fix them. Improvements happen in practice, not in a presentation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every day, thousands of parcels are collected from clients, scanned, sorted across hubs, and handed to the right carrier on time.&nbsp;You\u2019re&nbsp;the person who&nbsp;truly understands&nbsp;this process \u2014 from first scan to last pallet \u2014 and who keeps raising the bar. You lead a growing team of a Quality Coordinator, Planning Coordinators, and future Team Leaders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This is not a role for someone who prefers to manage from a distance.\u00a0You\u00a0are present,\u00a0visible,\u00a0and\u00a0hands-on \u2014\u00a0every\u00a0day.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you&#8217;ll do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On the floor: see it, fix it<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be physically present in the operation: walk the hubs, ride along with drivers, and see first-hand where quality is under pressure.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify\u00a0bottlenecks in the collection, scanning, sorting, and loading process and address them directly \u2014 not delegate to a note.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Co-write work instructions and SOPs based on what you\u00a0actually see\u00a0on the floor, not just approve them.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hold drivers and warehouse staff directly accountable for quality and working methods \u2014 with respect, but without detours.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use KPIs daily to steer the operation, not just to report upward.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Process&nbsp;optimisation&nbsp;with&nbsp;Lean<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drive structural improvements using a Lean approach: 5S, Kaizen, PDCA \u2014 applied on the floor, not in theory.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead improvement projects together with the Quality Coordinator, from analysis through to implementation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make improvements\u00a0stick:\u00a0embed them in working methods, systems, and team behaviour.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Leading&nbsp;a&nbsp;growing&nbsp;team<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Day-to-day leadership of the Quality Coordinator and Planning Coordinators; building the structure for future Team Leaders.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coach and develop your team \u2014 you are the role model for the hands-on approach you expect from others.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build a culture where quality is not a control mechanism but a shared sense of pride.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Planning, carriers &amp;
