Laura Yu
Business Development
My name is Laura Yu, and I work in the Business Development department at QLS.
In my role, I focus on business development and market growth in China. I work closely on partnerships, local market strategies, and marketing initiatives with the aim of further strengthening the connection between QLS and the Chinese e-commerce and logistics ecosystem.
During my Master’s degree in Strategic Product Design at TU Delft, I started my own e-commerce business. During that time, I became increasingly involved in entrepreneurship and international e-commerce. I also founded a Chinese community for European entrepreneurs in China: WhyU Group, which now has over 400 members. Within this community, I share experiences, knowledge, and insights about doing business in Europe.
I live in The Hague with my boyfriend and our one-and-a-half-year-old cat, Yanyan. My commute is quite long, but I actually see it as a great time to study Dutch and work on my personal development.
I enjoy working in a structured and well-planned way — I prefer to be well-prepared before I start anything. In my free time, you can often find me at the gym or on the badminton court — and I dare say I’m pretty good at it. I also love sharing moments from my daily life, both offline and online.
