Hi, I’m Laura Mallee, and since January 2026 I’ve been working in the Finance Department at QLS.
A little about me: I was born in Amsterdam in 1977, raised in ’s-Gravendeel, with a few detours to Rotterdam—and eventually returned. In 2000, I became the proud mother of a wonderful daughter, who sometimes thinks I’m a bit quirky—and she’s right. I love coloring outside the lines; it offers a new perspective—a picture you wouldn’t otherwise see. For example, on Sundays, we sometimes go to the cinema in our pajamas.
I tend to be an observer; when I feel uncomfortable, I either go very quiet or start talking non-stop.
Friends describe me as calm, a good listener, independent-minded, and direct.
What makes me happy:
I love dancing (Kizomba & Argentine Tango), walking, swimming in the sea (even when it’s not summer), oysters, licorice, chocolate, reading, and traveling.
In addition to my work at QLS, I run my own practice in hapto-therapy and systemic coaching.
At first glance, QLS and my practice may seem completely different—the head and the heart—but that’s exactly why the combination suits me. It brings balance between what I feel, think, and do.
