My official name is Johan Op De Beeck, but literally everyone calls me “De Wannes.”
As a maintenance technician at QLS Belgium, I make sure the machinery is always running smoothly. From daily maintenance to troubleshooting and fixing breakdowns — I’m a true all-rounder and really enjoy the variety and independence in my job. Since the day I started here, I haven’t been bored for a single second.
Outside of work, I’m an avid snowboarder and hit the slopes several times a year. At home, I’m always tinkering with something: taking a car apart (and putting it back together), welding a new lamp, starting a new project… And if I’m not working on something, you might find me at a flea market searching for hidden treasures.
