Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving our machinery and automation systems. No two days are the same. One day you’ll be carrying out preventive maintenance, and the next you’ll be troubleshooting a technical issue to keep our order picking operation running smoothly. You play a key role in ensuring our operations never stop.

What you’ll do

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and improvements on machines and automated systems.

• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and prevent technical issues.

• Diagnose and resolve technical faults quickly and efficiently.

• Work together with suppliers and external service engineers on specialised repairs.

• Maintain accurate maintenance and breakdown reports to help improve future performance.

• Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve our technical processes and installations.

What you’ll bring

• A completed technical education or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience maintaining machinery and automation systems. Experience in fulfilment or logistics is a plus, but not required.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure and respond quickly to technical issues.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to identify improvement opportunities before problems arise.
• Flexibility to occasionally work in shifts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
