About us
QLS began over 20 years ago as a family-run business and has since grown into one of the largest e-commerce logistics providers in the Benelux. We manage the entire logistics process for webshops—from pick-up to packing and delivery.

With one of the largest AutoStore systems in the Netherlands, multiple packing machines, and hundreds of meters of conveyor belts, we operate at scale. Our in-house platform my.QLS connects every aspect of our logistics operation, giving customers and employees real-time insights into order fulfillment.

Your role
As a Medior/Senior PHP Developer, you’ll work in our in-house my.QLS development team alongside other driven developers and a Product Owner. You’ll be supported by our IT Support team and have a direct impact on warehouse performance. Your work will include:

• Maintaining and building API integrations with webshops (Shopify, Lightspeed, Magento), marketplaces (Bol, Amazon), and carriers (DHL, PostNL, DPD);
• Developing features that control the flow of packages through our AutoStore and machines;
• Creating robust tools for warehouse employees to ensure consistent quality;
• Building microservices to improve performance and scalability;
• Using Elastic and Kibana to develop dashboards that deliver real-time insights.

You’ll collaborate closely with our IT Lead to gain domain knowledge and learn new technologies while applying your code directly to real-world operations.

Who you are

• HBO level of education/work thinking;
• Living in the Netherlands and fluent in Dutch (required);
• 2+ years of experience as a developer in a team environment;
• Strong experience with PHP 7.4+ and frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, or CakePHP;
• Solid understanding of OOP and design principles (e.g. SOLID);
• Open to working with C# (Android app) and Go (a plus, not required);
• Experience with Agile is a plus;
• Experience with Git and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket);
• Willing to work with tools like Elasticsearch, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Docker.
