Our parcel service covers the Netherlands and Belgium, with a dedicated team of couriers collecting packages from webshops daily. QLS leads the way in automated e-fulfillment by leveraging advanced technology, including one of the largest AutoStore systems in the country—a robot-controlled storage and retrieval system that maximizes capacity and speeds up order processing. This cutting-edge tech is complemented by multiple packing machines and hundreds of meters of conveyor belts, ensuring seamless and efficient processing.

Our self-developed platform, my.QLS, integrates these capabilities and gives both clients and employees real-time insights into orders for a more efficient and transparent workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and create new API integrations for webshops (e.g. Shopify, Lightspeed, Magento), platforms (e.g. Bol, Amazon), and carrier partners (e.g. DHL, PostNL, DPD), ensuring seamless data flow between systems;
• Contribute to the development of parcel flows within our warehouse, optimizing movements through AutoStore, packaging machines, and conveyor belts;
• Build robust modules to help our warehouse team deliver consistent, high-quality results for every shipment;
• Develop microservices to enhance the speed, scalability, and efficiency of the platform;
• Create real-time data visualizations and insights for customers and employees using tools such as Elastic and Kibana, ensuring everyone stays informed on operational performance.

Qualifications:

• A proactive, results-driven, and ambitious mindset, eager to take on challenges and deliver great outcomes;
• Proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written;
• Experience with PHP 7.4+ and familiarity with frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, or CakePHP;
• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket);
• Willingness to work with (or learn!) tools such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Docker;
• Experience in software development is a plus!
